Support Services

Support Services Division – Records Section

This section is designed to assist citizens with information about some of the services that we provide to the public. Citizens often have questions about how to get copies of reports for insurance purposes. Hopefully this section will help.

Records Department Hours

Getting copies of reports can be done by contacting the Records Section of the Fulton Police Department. The Records Section is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone inquiries should be made to 573-592-3100 or 573-592-3105.

Report Information Available to the Public:

The public may obtain certain reports under the State of Missouri Sunshine Law. Not all on-going or felony investigations are public information. Under Missouri State Statute 610.100, the information available to the public is information from the incident report, which includes date, time, location, names of victims and the nature of the crime or incident. Juvenile information and victim information in sex crimes are not open to the public.

Copies of Reports

Copies of reports may be obtained at the Police Department Records Section, during normal business hours. (Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).  Copies will include an administrative fee of $3 (cash only).  We do not accept personal checks. For requests made by mail, please include the appropriate amount in cash or money order and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Mail your request to:
