The Fulton Police Department presently has 27 full time commissioned officers, one records clerk, one meter enforcement officer and 6 support staff. We also have a 6 man reserve force.

Within the department, we have a 7 man Special Response Team, a 4 man Detective Bureau.  Two officers assigned to to public housing, one Officer assigned as a School Resource Officer and two officers assigned as DARE instructors. We presently have 7 black/white patrol units, 2 marked four-wheel drive patrol units,  two unmarked detective units. and a meter enforcement vehicle. We have a 2 man bike unit used for special events and patrolling the city's 3 1/2 mile walking trail, when weather and man power permits.

Presently, years of service at the Fulton Police Department average 6.5 years. The average age of our officers is 37 years old. These two figures reflect what a fine department we have. They reflect the support and confidence our officers have in the department and Fulton City Government.
